Certifications
RMB SpA’s full environmental compatibility and maximum safety have earned it the industry’s most prestigious certifications.
The international certification agency DNV certified the plant through the integrated system for the following categories:
- UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, a standard setting out requirements for the corporate quality management system designed to handle corporate processes so they are addressed to improvement of organizational effectiveness and efficiency, as well as customer satisfaction.
- UNI EN ISO 14001:2004, a standard setting out requirements for the environmental management system that monitors the environmental impact of corporate activities and systematic pursuit of improvement of sustainability of these activities.
- UNI EN ISO 18001:2007, a standard setting out requirements for the corporate quality management system of occupational health and safety.
- Certificate DNV (UE) Regulation 333/2011, UE 333/2011: establishing criteria determining when certain types of scrap metal cease to be waste under Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
RMB is a registered environmental manager for categories 4, 8 and 9, as well as being SOA-certified by the Soa Laghi SpA certification agency.
