Main typologies of materials treated in the RMB facility
- Ferrous and non-ferrous material deriving from mechanical sorting and grading of fluff (light scrap from motor vehicle crushing), in turn deriving from metal waste treatment plants;
- Inert material deriving from landfill soil and rock recovery operations and materials from contaminated soil reclamation;
- Bottom ash from incinerators which can be processed to recover metal residues from the waste-to-energy process and fine fraction sent to further recovery in cement production plants;
- Material similar to urban waste and multi-material undergoing screening and selection operations for recovery of exploitable fraction;
- Other wastes containing oxides for cement factories;
- Other materials containing exploitable fractions;
- Other materials not containing exploitable fractions.
