Tests of external air quality performed every six months have always recorded concentrations of the different substances under the reference limits stated in Ministerial Decree 60/2002 and Legislative Decree 152/07. 
No significant differences have been found in the survey positions with regard to main wind direction at the time of measurement.

Surveys on underground water regularly collected in two different points over the course of several years of company activity have never shown excesses of limit concentrations.

The ultimate goal and guideline of RMB is the recovery of materials from waste by minimizing as much as possible the environmental impact.

The optimisation of different treatment stages, continuous revamping of the plants in use, and the coordinated management of means and human resources have allowed RMB to limit the consumption of power and the amount of water consumed per ton of waste.

To date, the limit concentrations have never been exceeded.

Aeriform emissions from working plants show that concentration levels are always lower than the limit values set down by the regulations.
