Non-ferrous
metals
these include fractions (aluminium, lead, copper, brass, zinc, different alloys, etc.) selected by mechanical screening, induced currents, optical separation, flotation, and sorting. The origin of this type of waste can be traced back to any batch of incoming waste containing non-ferrous metal fractions, such as, for example: waste containing metals from grinding; metal packaging in aluminium; bottom ash; demolition waste, etc.

Should the selected aluminium fractions, following refining operations, comply with the criteria of Reg. 333/2011/EC, according to available certified procedures, they will cease to be classified as waste and the Conformity Certification will be prepared, in line with the UNI technical standards for aluminium.
