A system to make products/aggregates (concrete blocks, cement mixes, loose unbound aggregates) by which it is possible to reuse materials directly from its own internal processing lines and/or from third-party crushing systems has recently been installed. Processing aggregates meet with technical standards for the end use industry and can be re-used in road infrastructures, secondary civil building work, production of cement mixes, and for non-structural applications.
With this new plant, RMB has extended its “Recovery Chain”, giving new life to decaying inert elements from processing phases in different plant sections.
The resulting environmental benefits are worthy of note. For example, this system contributes to cutting the disposal of inert waste at authorised landfill and at the same time, it also means a reduction in the extraction of sand from quarries, river beds, mines, etc.
