This is a voluntary standard, verifiable through third-party audits, which defines the requirements that must be met by organisations committed to ensuring quality working conditions with a view to social responsibility. The certification recognises RMB’s ability to develop effective and structured corporate strategies, initiatives and processes aimed at continuously improving the workplace and working conditions for all its employees, inspired by the highest standards of social sustainability on issues relating to workers’ conditions: human rights, development, enhancement, training and professional growth of individuals, health and safety of workers, non-discrimination, child labour and youth employment. Its requirements also extend to suppliers and subcontractors. The SA8000 certification is therefore one of the tools that allows RMB to take concrete action in the face of the complex challenges of our times – from social inequalities
